1. Agreement
By using CrawlRoo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Service Description
CrawlRoo provides AI-powered chatbot creation by crawling and indexing publicly available website content. The chatbot answers questions based solely on the indexed content.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You must have the right to submit URLs for crawling (i.e., you own or operate the website).
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your website content.
- You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process sensitive personal information beyond normal business enquiries.
- You must comply with the robots.txt directives of any website you submit.
4. AI Disclaimer
AI-generated responses are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, medical, or professional advice. Responses are derived from your website content and may occasionally be inaccurate.
5. Plans and Billing
- Free tier: 1 website, 30 chats/month, CrawlRoo branding required.
- Paid plans: billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
- Usage exceeding plan limits will result in chat responses being paused until the next billing cycle or plan upgrade.
6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of your website content and chat data. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. See our Privacy Policy for data handling details.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, CrawlRoo's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, you may export your data. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
